If Ever I Fall By The Troubles

If ever I fall would you pick me up
Would you dust me off would you put me back
Would you let me go on hurting myself
Will you run if I ever fall

With all the time I've spent fixing lines and hanging nets
It's a wonder nothings come an push me off this tightrope yet
But it's a long way down the fall is fun but landings hard
You knock me off my feet but you catch me off my guard

If ever I fall would you pick me up
Would you dust me off would you put me back
Would you let me go on hurting myself
Will you run if I ever fall

You see through me best when I'm stranded at my worst
Despite myself I'm blessed with circumstances I have cursed
Before I learn to run I have to know that I can fall
For every step I take a hundred make me fall

If ever I fall would you pick me up
Would you dust me off would you put me back
Would you let me go on hurting myself
Would you run if I ever fall if I ever fall

You can run away, you can run away you don't owe me anything at all
But you never do always follow through
You're always right behind me when I start to fall
I've learned to balance on clumsy feet and broken hearts
Just meet me half way there I promise I will stop

If ever I fall would you pick me up
Would you dust me off would you put me back
Would you let me go on hurting myself
Will you run if I ever fall

Do you have a mental illness?

If you have a diagnosis--or love someone with a diagnosis--you may have:

  • Spent time in a hospital
  • Gone to individual or group therapy
  • Seen a doctor who prescribes medications
  • Attended a support group
  • Surfed the web
  • Read a book

And if you have depression or bipolar disorder, you may have wondered if there is anything else you can do to get your life back.
